THE COMPANY

DEM, established in 1987, manufactures RFI suppression filters for household appliances and similar devices. It is a private company with its administrative headquarters in Longarone, Italy and a production plant in Pakrac, Croatia. DEM manufactures over 10 million filters a year, making it the European leader in the sector.  With a reputation for experience, innovation, product quality and service, DEM is the leader in its field, with a turnover that increases year-on-year and nearly 300 employees.  DEM’s customer-oriented policy means its customers play an active part in the company’s success.

QEED is the electronics division of DEM which develops and manufactures circuit boards for third parties. Thanks to its flexibility and expertise, QEED is able to solve its customers’ manufacturing and quality problems using automatic machines controlled by qualified workers, guaranteeing the highest possible quality standards.  QEED was established in 2012 and is considered a trusted partner in the development of custom circuit boards for the automation industry.

OUR TEAM

Our team is made up of professionals from the industrial automation sector who have earned themselves a reputation for their innovative and high-performance projects, gaining market approval thanks to their ongoing technical and commercial assistance. Customers are given technical support throughout the project, starting in the design stage and continuing through the development phase when the best technical solution is studied and defined and the circuits, cabling and components are optimised to prevent EMC-related problems.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Our technical staff has more than 30 years’ experience and is able to translate our customers’ needs into successful electrical and mechanical products, providing technical support documentation, product testing, prototyping and validation. All DEM’s products are designed and manufactured in compliance with current legislation and approved by the leading international safety institutes. All its products are tested according to electrical and mechanical parameters. The criteria for a product’s quality and reliability (ppm) and self-certified production are agreed upon with the customer. DEM studies and develops suppression filters and circuit boards in the laboratory at the Longarone plant in Belluno, Italy.  The EMC lab, which measures electromagnetic compatibility in accordance with Directive 2014/30/EU, is also located at company headquarters. The laboratory is accredited to issue test reports and conduct regulatory compliance testing. Regulatory compliance means customers can affix the CE marking to their equipment.
